2003. Color. 100 minutes. English language. Image quality: good.

Twenty eight year old poet Leo Breavman uses his memories of childhood and female conquests as a source of inspiration for his writings. Leo takes a trip to New York and meets a young woman named Shell, a graphic designer who divides her time between Montreal and New York. Not long after the two meet, Shell leaves her husband and engages in a passionate affair with the Leo. "The Favourite Game" is a cool, stylish, and sexy film with an excellent soundtrack that both compliments and enhances the moods and settings of the movie. Based on Leonard Cohen's autobiographical first novel of the same name.
